Bio
Adele is an Employment Partner.
Adele advises employers across the full range of employment law issues, with a particular focus on strategic advisory work, complex change programmes, and high-risk employee relations matters.
She has a strong interest in supporting large global businesses through transformation projects, where legal considerations need to be balanced with commercial, operational, reputational, and people priorities.
She has particular sector expertise in retail, FMCG, food and beverage, automotive and logistics, and manufacturing. She is responsible for supporting a portfolio of blue-chip clients in these areas, giving her an insight into many of the pressures faced by businesses operating in these sectors, including the need to manage change quickly, maintain operational continuity, respond to fluctuating demand, and handle sensitive workforce issues in a commercially-realistic way.
Examples of Adele’s work include:
- Providing a full suite of employment law support to various retail and FMCG clients such as Selfridges, Charlotte Tilbury, Ferrero, and Fox’s and Burton’s Biscuits Company.
- Regularly advising large businesses on sensitive C-suite and senior executive exits, including situations involving loss of confidence, performance concerns, breakdowns in working relationships and wider board or stakeholder dynamics.
- Advising a retail/e-commerce client on the offshoring of its warehouse and logistics function, including advice and support on the application of TUPE, collective consultation obligations, individual consultation requirements and redundancy issues arising from the proposed transfer and related workforce changes.
- She has also supported a global logistics business on employment issues arising from the disposal of a significant part of its operations, including senior exits, complex employment-related data privacy issues and an intra-group reorganisation.
